Comments: prime focus 8'' f5 Newtonian. Stacked using DeepskyStacker. Now this came out very nice. First really good try with bias frames. It made the flats work a lot better. Other than levels and curves there is very little processing on this image. A bit of noise reduction and that''s about it. |

Comments: prime focus 5'' f5 refractor. Just rebuilt it with a new 2'' focuser and lined the tube with Protostar flocking paper. The focuser has helped with the vignetting a lot and the flocking paper has improved the contrast of the images (I think, anyway) |

Comments: prime focus 8'' f6.3 Schmidt Cassegrain. First real light with my new Canon Rebel XT. Much, much better noise than the Pentax. This one was taken under a nearly full moon and still came out very well |
